This award recognizes Bourns’ top performing distribution channel partner, as measured by North American revenue growth for fiscal year 2007 and other key performance metrics.

Bourns’ North American Distributor of the Year award was formally presented to Digi-Key at the 2008 Electronics Distribution Show and Conference (EDS) in Las Vegas, Nevada. EDS provides an opportunity for electronic component suppliers, their worldwide distributors and their North American representatives to meet, discuss and review prior and current year performance, along with presenting new growth strategies and opportunities to increase revenue by further improving service to customers. Bourns has been honoring its top distribution partners since 2004 with this award. Vice President of Distributor Sales for Bourns, Dick Krass, presented the award to Digi-Key during the annual meeting between the two companies at EDS.
