The successful candidate for our Credit & Collections Assistant position will primarily be responsible for daily collections of information, timely-accurate application, reconciliation and maintenance of our daily Cash Receipts. Responsibilities would also include assisting the department with projects, reconciliations, resolving complex issues and expediting the collection and maintenance of receivables as a whole. This person will be assigned accounts to maintain, manage and collect on as well. Formal training equivalent to two to four years of college (or business college or equivalent work experience) including courses in Accounting, Economics, Business Organization, coupled with 3-5 year's experience in directly related activities. Excellent communication skills, ability to monitor and perform credit evaluation on new and existing accounts. Working with Sales Dept. to resolve and enforce company as well as credit and collection policy. Knowledge of resale certificates is essential. Must have a history of addressing multiple tasks through to completion with success; the ability to accept challenges as opportunities for growth is also essential in this position. This individual should be self motivated, conscientious and enthusiastic in not only meeting but exceeding the expectations of this position; an effective and productive team player. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required along with a working knowledge of financial statements and D&B credit reports.

The Senior Project Engineer plans, conducts, coordinates, and supervises assignments involving more than one design/project of major magnitude and scope, or personally performs complex and novel design engineering assignments; provides sustaining engineering support for established models; redesigns models for improved profitability, performance, quality and reliability; designs/develops new products and processes; assumes total responsibility for medium-sized projects, including budget responsibility. BS in Engineering or Applied Science is required, MS is preferred with direct experience in the related field. Field Applications Engineer – Europe (m/f)

to support Bourns’ Circuit Protection Group, including PTC, Thyristor, TVS, TBU and magnetic products in the field on existing and new programs. Bourns’ broad portfolio of protection products, including ceramic, polymer and silicon technologies, allows tremendous flexibility in solving customer application protection problems from ESD to power line protection.
Based in Central Europe, either near Bourns offices in Sauerlach (close to München) / Germany or in Baar / Switzerland, or working from a Home Office with an international airport nearby (choice of the job incumbent) with a manageable level of travel, this position will provide an opportunity to work with some of the largest telecom and datacom companies to help develop and deliver cutting-edge circuit protection solutions.
As a member of a global FAE team, this role provides expert technical support to existing and new customers as well as working with the R&D / Product Development teams on follow-on products and next generation devices.
Your Responsibilities
- Direct technical sales support including substantial face-to-face contact with our best customers.
- Create and assist design wins by working with the Marketing and the Sales team to identify opportunities and drive solutions at new and existing customers.
- Collect and disseminate market intelligence.
- Identify and specify follow-on products and next generation devices which best meet market demands.
- Act as the technical liaison between the customer and the product and engineering teams.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have an engineering degree, with equivalent experience in developing and/or supporting electronic circuit protection hardware solutions in the field. Fluency in English plus at least one other Western European language is required.
The following experience is highly desirable:
- A strong working knowledge of analogue circuitry as well as telecommunications applications and their requirements for protection.
- Knowledge of relevant circuit protection devices (e.g. Thyristor overvoltage protectors, GDT’s, TVS arrays and Thermistor products).
- Strong presentation, written and spoken communication skills coupled with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Strong organization, meeting management, and time management skills.

Ihre Aufgaben
Gestalten Sie die nächste Generation unserer Weg- und Winkelsensorik im Fahrzeug in einem engagierten, interdisziplinären Team mit! Sie entwerfen und implementieren SW-Komponenten zur Ablaufsteuerung, Eigendiagnose, Kommunikation und Datenauswertung für unsere Embedded Systeme. Dabei führen Sie eigenverantwortlich Anforderungsanalysen, Konzeptentwicklungen und Realisierungen für Softwarearchitekturen in Abstimmung mit den Kunden durch. Sie arbeiten gemäß dem SW Life-Cycle Management Prozess (Architektur, Implementierung, Integration, Test, Dokumentation) und unterstützen die Entwicklung der benötigten Verifikationssysteme.
Ihr Profil
Sie verfügen über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes technisches oder naturwissenschaftliches Studium und mindestens drei Jahre Berufspraxis in der hardwarenahen Softwareentwicklung für Automotive Applikationen.
Daher können Sie unbedingt folgende Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen einbringen:
- Fundierte Programmierkenntnisse in C für 8- und 16-Bit Mikrokontroller
- Umgang mit elektronischem Test-Equipment (z.B. Oszilloskop, In-Circuit Debugger)
- V-Modell Entwicklungsprozess
- Erfahrungen in der SW-Entwicklung von sicherheitsrelevanten Systemen gemäß IEC 61508 oder ISO 26262
- Hardware-Software Schnittstellentests und Debugging
- Versionskontrolle, Bugtracking und Anforderungsmanagement
- Dokumentation von Testresultaten gemäß Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262 etc.
Zudem sind folgende fachliche Kenntnisse von Vorteil:
- Codeanalysetools zur Complianceprüfung (z.B. Polyspace, Coverity)
- Hardware-Entwicklung von analogen und digitalen Schaltungen
- Modellbasiertes Design, MathWorks Matlab/Simulink
- Kommunikations-Technologien wie CAN, FlexRay
Neben Ihrer fachlichen Kompetenz überzeugen Sie durch Selbständigkeit, Belastbarkeit, Eigenverantwortung und Engagement - kurz gesagt, Sie haben eine „hands on“ Mentalität.
